Physics of Exotic Atoms

Since 2012 every spring semester, we are holding a yearly course on Physics of Exotic Atoms . This lecture reviews the status of physics with exotic atoms including the new exciting advances such as anti-hydrogen spectroscopy and the recent measurements like the puzzling results of the muonic-hydrogen experiment for the determination of the proton radius. Attending the course will grant the fundamental knowledge to understand the most recent experiments with exotic atoms, spanning from precise tests of bound state QED, low energy QCD, searches for new physics, tests of CPT, the effect of gravity on anti-matter and their application to material characterization.
